Our apartment is located in the beautiful coastal town of Fethiye located in the southwestern region of Turkey. It has a rich and fascinating history dating back to ancient times, and today it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country.

Fethiye was originally known as Telmessos and was a significant city in the ancient Lycian civilization. The Lycians were a seafaring people who built impressive cities and temples along the coast of Turkey. The city of Telmessos was a hub of trade and commerce, with a bustling harbor that welcomed ships from all over the Mediterranean. Today, visitors to Fethiye can explore the ruins of the ancient city, including the impressive Lycian rock tombs that are carved into the cliffs above the town.
